2015-2016 SLOW PITCH SOFTBALL ALL-STARS HAVE BEEN SELECTED!

The 2015-2016 All-Star Slow Pitch Softball Games are scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Mack Fanning Field - Newton County High School (Decatur, MS); the first game will begin at 1:00 PM.

If you have been selected to play in the All-Star Slow Pitch Softball Games:

IMPORTANT DATES:

• All-Star Player Participation Forms & School Physical are due back by Thursday, August 27.

• Ads must be received by Wednesday, September 9.

• Players will report on Game Day: Saturday, October 31, 2015.

2015-2016 SLOW PITCH SOFTBALL COACHING RECORD UPDATE & ALL-STAR PLAYER NOMINATION FORMS ARE NOW AVAILABLE.

The 2015-2016 All-Star Slow Pitch Softball Games are scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Mack Fanning Field - Newton County High School (Decatur, MS); players will report the morning of the game.  Please check with your players for conflicts with these dates prior to nominating. Be sure to review the guidelines to ensure that your players are eligible.

IMPORTANT DATES:

• Coaching Record Update Forms must be submitted electronically by Monday, August 10, 2015. To be considered for All-Star Coach, you must return this form.

• All-Star Coaches will be selected on Wednesday, August 12, 2015.  

• All-Star Player Nomination Forms must be received by Wednesday, August 12, 2015.

• All-Star Players will be selected on Wednesday, August 19, 2015.

Softball Guidelines................

Must have been a member of the M.A.C. for at least three (3) consecutive years.
Must have been a head coach in a MHSAA school for at least three (3) years.
Must have a lifetime winning record in Softball.
Must have been in State Playoffs at least once in last three (3) years.
Can only coach in one all-star game per year.
Must abide by the M.A.C. Code of Ethics.
Must cooperate with the M.A.C. in the sale of ads.
Each All-Star Coach will be given two (2) tickets to the game.
Each All-Star Coach will receive $100.00 honorarium.
Must have demonstrated by past performance that he/she will fulfill all commitments he/she made concerning his/her all-star player(s) as required and specified to by the M.A.C.
Recommendations for these All-Star Coaches come from M.A.C. Softball Committee based on nomination forms submitted by individual coaches; final approval by the M.A.C. Executive Committee.
II. Selection of Players:
Must be a senior graduating with her regular class.
Must respond to all dated material by the date requested.
Must cooperate with the M.A.C. in the sale of ads.
Must not be pregnant.
Must exhibit positive attitude to those in charge at all times.
Cannot wear earrings in practices or game.
Failure to comply with any of these guidelines will result in dismissal from team.
